Year Six Bikeability Training Course!

By Yash J. in year six

Fantastic, fun and full of energy, Year 6 had the privilege to do their Bikeability course on the 29th November 2016.  Aiming to achieve their level 1, the children to learn how to ride their bikes properly and safely.  As the course was outside, the children had fresh air, and were able to exercise, so that was a good way to keep fit.

The training period was approximately an hour long, and in that time, Year 6 learnt several new facts about riding bikes.  During the lesson, they were taught how to keep their cycles in a good condition, what to do before going out onto the road, and how to ride safely.  Overall, the course was beneficial (as the children would need to know the techniques when older) and a good way to exercise while having fun!
