It was lovely last week to welcome everyone back into school, with smiles on their faces and an eagerness to resume school friendships and school routines. Our learning continues until 31st March and we are as busy as ever.. a few highlights to mention.
Outside learning- every Thursday until Easter , please bring in wellies/ outdoor shoes in a named carrier bag and a coat. I know 1 person didn't have a coat and was fortunate it started raining just as we were coming in.
Wednesday 17th March - cinema afternoon as a massive thank you for fundraising in our climb to Kilimanjaro
Wednesday 24th March- a zoom visit from Hornimans museum about Benin art
Fridays- Passion play practice and outside PE
Monday 29th March- Easter egg hunt around the school( please send in a few small eggs we can hide before this date)
Wednesday 31st March- Passion Play and 2pm finish
Please send in reading logs with pages recorded and signed on a daily basis, we were missing quite a few last week. This shows you have been reading and your parents know about it as they sign your book.
Finally a massive thank you to everyone who contributed money to our super organiser Mrs Flaherty. She did a sterling job in restocking our shelves with new books that need reading, so please encourage your children to look carefully and choose well.
Topic and Spelling test on Friday
