Year Two
Useful Information
School Day
Year 2 pupils will be collected from the playground at 8:45am, where we will join together to say our morning prayer.
Year 2 are dismissed from the playground at 3.15pm. Any parents who arrive later than 3.25pm will have to collect their child from the school office.
PE
Year 2 have PE on Monday and Friday. Children must come into school wearing the correct PE kit.

Reading
Year 2 reading books are collected in on Tuesday morning and returned on Wednesday. Daily reading is encouraged and parents should comment and sign their child's reading record when they have heard them read. Useful comments include whether the child read fluently, if there were any words they struggled to pronounce or did not know the meaning of, whether the child used expression and paused at the relevant punctuation, whether they were able to infer about characters' feelings and if they were able to make logical predictions.
Please make sure their books are in school everyday, as we will listen to children read throughout the week.
