The 12 Chinese zodiac animal are:
Rat
Ox
Tiger
Rabbit
Dragon
Snake
Horse
Goat
Monkey
Rooster
Dog
Pig
Friday 12th February 2021 is the start of the Chinese New Year; this year is the Year of the Ox.
Are you or anybody in your family born in the Year of the Ox?
The recent ox years have been 2009, 1997, 1985, 1973 and 1961.
To celebrate Chinese New Year you are going to have a go at creating some different art-work.
You are all going to create an ox mask to symbolise the year of the ox - you may decorate this mask in anyway you like.
Then you will pick an art project to complete in addition to your ox mask. There are five to choose from. You are welcome to do more than one if you have time!
Have Fun!
