A time of preparation, excitement and expectation.
Your child will have returned home with a scroll and a plastic bag this week. It is a random act of kindness within the class each day and is completely on a voluntary basis. If a bag is brought into school by Tuesday 1st December then eventually at some point in the month your child will receive a bag of kindness, which should also entail a joke, message or up lifting comment. We will also be thinking of other challenges and tasks to complete within class as part of preparing for Christmas.
Christmas cards can be brought to school as of the 2nd December and posted in our class post box only for class members. They will be taken out of quarantine and distributed during the final week of term, so no need to panic yet!
Party donations via Just give(see the newsletter for details) will also conclude next Friday in order for us to buy individual snacks and prizes for our party games ready for party afternoon on Thursday 10th December
This week we are looking at Modal verbs, which will be useful in our next discussion writing topic. Can you find any discussions on the news or newspaper where a balanced argument has to be used?
There are 3 tasks set on purple mash this week. 2 involving Beth in Egypt and 1 retelling an account
1 task on multiples or factors looking at what we have been studying this week.
