In science this week we are looking at the function of the roots. Can you find a plant/ weed in the garden and dig it up with its roots attached? Now take apart the leaves, stem, until you have separate bits in front of you. Now put all the pieces on a sheet of paper like reassembling a jigsaw and stick down. Finally look carefully and draw the fine details on the roots.
