Week 1: This week in Hedgehog class, the children talked about Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics. We were very lucky to have two nurses from our local hospital come in to talk with the children about what they do and all of the different things they might see or experience in a hospital and who might help them.

Week 2: This week to follow on from last week, we the children explored keeping their bodies healthy. We talked about what foods are good to eat and how physical exercise impacts their bodies.

The children explored fruit patterns on their fruit kebabs.

This week the children took part in sports day with the rest of Holy Innocents school. They did great and took part in a running, Hurdles and Egg and Spoon race.

After all that exercise we enjoyed a picnic on the field and some of the parents joined us, we finished the day with an ice lolly to cool off.

Week 3: This week in our people that help us topic, we are exploring Postal workers we talked about different methods of communication and how posting letters is the traditional way of communication. 

The children made pictures to send home to their parents and added addresses and stamps.

We then took a walk to our local post box and posted their letters.
