Class Information

Homework:

Every week, Year 4 will have a group of spellings to learn. Spellings will be given out on Fridays and they will be tested on them the following Friday.
We will also be setting Maths and English homework which will be set on Fridays and due by Wednesday.

Reading:

The children should be reading every day and their reading report must be signed each time they read (at least 4 times a week). The reading records are checked on Friday, however books can be changed during the week if you finish reading a book quickly. The children are also encouraged to select high quality books to read for pleasure.

PE:

The children have PE on Tuesday mornings with our PE coach where they should come into school in PE kits. Our second PE session will be taught by the class teacher and will be on Friday mornings.
